At the 2024 China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), Zhejiang Xinghe Medical Devices Co., Ltd. officially launched the "Zhiyingseries intelligent electric endoscopic stapler." This product innovatively combines fiber optic sensing technology with AI algorithms, allowing for real-time monitoring of parameters such as tissue thickness and blood vessel density, and automatically adjusting the stapling pressure to improve stitching precision to the 0.1mm level.

At the 2024 China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), Zhejiang Xinghe Medical Device Co., Ltd. officially launched the "Zhiying series intelligent electric endoscopic stapler." This product innovatively combines fiber optic sensing technology with AI algorithms to monitor tissue thickness, blood vessel density, and other parameters in real time, automatically adjusting the stapler pressure and improving stitching accuracy to the 0.1 mm level. Clinical data shows that in 200 colorectal surgeries, the postoperative anastomotic leakage rate using this product decreased from 4.7% with traditional instruments to 2.1%, reaching international standards.

The head of the R&D team introduced that the product took five years to develop, overcoming three major technical difficulties: ① developing a flexible pressure sensing membrane with a thickness of only 0.8 mm that can withstand 150℃ high-temperature sterilization; ② creating a medical AI database containing 100,000 cases of tissue characteristics; ③ achieving seamless docking between the instrument and the surgical robot system. The product has obtained CE certification and has simultaneously submitted an application for Breakthrough Device Designation to the US FDA. Xinghe Medical announced a strategic cooperation with MicroPort MedBot, planning to integrate the intelligent stapler into the "Toumai" laparoscopic surgical robot system to jointly develop intelligent surgical solutions.

The director of the marketing department revealed that the Zhiying series is priced at 60% of imported brands and has received initial orders for 2,000 sets from Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The company is simultaneously launching the "100 Hospitals Plan," donating a training system for intelligent staplers worth 5 million yuan to primary hospitals to promote the popularization of minimally invasive technology. Industry insiders commented that the launch of this product marks the formal entry of domestic medical devices into a new stage of "independent innovation" from "imitation and catching up".
